BaptismClasses for parents expecting a child or who have a child to receive the Sacrament of Baptism are held the last Monday of each month at 6:30pm. Parents must attend the Baptism class before a child can be baptized unless they have taken a class within three years. Please call the Parish office, 382-4753, to register. If no one is registered there will be no class held that month.
Anointing of the SickSt. Leo’s offers the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick at special Masses during the year. Anyone may be anointed at these Masses of Anointing to ask for healing in your life or for your health. Father will also anoint anyone who wishes before a surgery, hospitalization or at home in any illness. Please don’t hesitate to call the parish office when you or a family member would like to receive this sacrament.
ReconciliationThe Sacrament of reconciliation is offered each week on Saturday afternoons from 4-4:40pm or by private appointment with Father Jack. Communal Reconciliation services are held twice a year during Advent and Lent. First Reconciliation is celebrated in the 2nd grade through Religious Education classes.
MarriageThose wishing to be married at St. Leo’s must complete a marriage preparation program at least four months in advance of the Marriage. Please call the parish office to make an appointment with Father Jack to set a date for your wedding ceremony and the marriage preparation class.
First EucharistChildren receive their First Communion in the Spring of the 2nd grade. Preparation for this Sacrament is held through the Parish Religious Education Classes. Contact the Parish Religious Education Director for more information.
ConfirmationYouth begin preparing for Confirmation during their junior year of high school. The Sacrament of Confirmation is conferred by the Bishop in the Fall of the senior year of high school at St. Leo’s. Contact the Parish Youth Director for more information.
PriesthoodThe Lord calls each of us to follow him. He calls men in a special way to follow him in ministry as a Priest.
