Alzheimer’s/Dementia Support Group will begin meeting the 4th Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm at the Country House Residence at 833 Alpha Street, Grand Island. For more information see our Church Bulletin Board.
Youth with a desire to stop using alcohol or drugs can attend a support group for middle school and high school youth on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm and Saturdays at 4pm at Unity Hall 201 N Wheeler.
Community Volunteer Opportunities
Parish Thrift Store 4th & Eddy St. Open Fridays & Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m They are also in need of dedicated people to volunteer at the store. Times needed are either Friday or Saturday for a 3 hour shift. St Mary’s FOOD PANTRY needs you! They need volunteers on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for a few hours a week to a few hours a month. Volunteers organize the pantry and fill bags to be distributed. Call Shirley at 384-7332
