Hello and welcome to a NEW year of Faith Formation!
So glad you were able to find your way here☺

Dear Families with Elementary age children,
This year we will be again engaging in the FAMILY FAITH FORMATION program. We are excited to be doing this program again as we will be implementing it the way it was designed, which is to empower the parents and engage the families by bringing them together as a community of believers ready and willing to pass on this beautiful and life giving faith of ours.
You are not on your own with this adventure!
This program is designed for the church to empower and teach the parents and then the parents get to share their learned wisdom onto their children.
(spoiler alert- this is already happening .. we're hopefully going to be adding to your arsenal of knowledge, love and wisdom)
The majority of the program with be “home based” with onsite catechesis for both students and parents.
We will meet on site during the first week of the month.
Parents will meet in the Parish hall and the students will meet in the classrooms.
The parents will be meeting for adult formation that teaches, encourages, and provides them with tools to share the Good News and the beauty of the Catholic Faith with their children.
Students in Grades K-5 meet in classrooms, divided by grade level,
where trained catechists present the READY MADE lessons.
These once a month gatherings will last approximately 80-90 minutes.
It will be a time of preparation and sharing as well as building community, with our parents as well as with our children again.
It will be empowering for all ages to be with their peers - giggling and learning with and from one another
Looking into the unforeseen future, if by some chance we find ourselves having to sequester, this program will still be able to continue as we did last year.
Our hopes, prayers and plans are that we will be able to meet monthly
(and on special occasions) as a Faith Formation Community at St Leo’s.
Let us keep this as a constant in all of our daily prayers.
For further explanation and assistance, please plan to attend one of
the mandatory Family Formation gatherings.
Please contact us if you did not receive a mailing with the dates of the
gatherings so information can be relayed.
We would love to have a conversation on the concerns, reasoning’s
and/or how we can be of help with you if these are not addresses
at the Formation Gatherings.
As always, if you have any questions please E-mail us
and we’ll get back with you as soon as we can.
We recognize that the past year and a half has been full of challenges
and adjustments for all families.
We are trying to make Faith Formation go as smooth and SAFE as possible.
If we work together, this will be an amazing, blessed benefit to your family and everyone’s faith journey.
We appreciate your continued efforts and prayers as we carry on our faith journey.
Peace & blessings,
