Because growing in Faith is a lifelong experience Grownups and older kids, start here for a short presentation on this month's topic at a level that will challenge and inform you.
The graces which come from the sacrament of Matrimony are intended to strengthen a man and woman's unity, help them to attain holiness, and welcome children. January's topic is all about Christ as the center of this vocation, as it is He who gives the strength for a couple to take up their crosses and follow Him through the joys and struggles of life together.
Next, you will want to watch this video from Fr Mike Schmitz. He does a great job of explaining the sacrament of marriage but as he will state this video is more appropriately rated as PG13. as such, you may want to watch it without your younger children, then use the wisdom learned when you have the TALKs* with your kids. I have shared before that the earlier you begin these conversations, the better it will be as they grow older, and are seeking more information. You will have opened the lines of communication and given your children a safe and honest place to come to for answers.
