The Parish Nurse Program, sponsored by Saint Francis Medical Center, allows us to have a part-time nurse on staff. The nurse visits the homebound members of the parish, keeps track of hospital patients and ensures their continued care after discharge, sponsors healthcare education events and is available to advise and assist in medical issues at the parish. The parish nurse also assists in organizing the Communion to the homebound.
